Having owned more cars over the years than I care to admit and having learned to drive via the Acme Bumpercar Method in Germany ... on the Autobahn (maybe explains why I had so many huh? lol) at the tender age of 17, I have found {over the years} what I consider to be my absolute favorite, my dream car if you will.
I have never owned one mind you, although I did own several VW's, Beetles and others and even a British camper van (Bedford Blitz) I have never had the pleasure, nor honor for that matter, to own one of these:

Mine would be turquoise and white though.
So ... what's your dream car?

Here, check this out: Shasta Snow Trip (http://www.shastasnowtrip.com/shastasnowtrip/shasta2008/default.asp) my friend has been going to this ever since it began and has been pestering me to go with him.
He has an older bus that barely makes it home each year, lol but it's still hanging in there.
Sadly, health issues keep me from going, although my friend is in way worse shape than I am, but perhaps one day ... ;)
Check out the rest of the site, they have a blast every time. Just thought you'd get a kick out of this. :hippie:

My friend was not able to go this last time also due to deteriorating health conditions (he has more nuts and bolts in him than the Frankenstein monster ever did), but we are shooting for the both of us doing it and for him last time come next year.
We'll see what happens.

If only they made hybrid pickup trucks ...
i'm a big fan of the older cars, i hate all the new stuff they've come out with. it looks TOO sleek, and it scares me. ha

i think generous motors has a hybrid suv out now, so a truck is on the way. probably be the worst gas mileage hybrid, let alone the most foreign made american car.
personally i would prefer a 66 campmobile
