I wasn't sure where to put this...

ANYWAY, i'm on break this week so i'm finally getting around to reconstructing all the enormous and old clothes i have lying around.

today's project was an enormous hoodie and a skirt. here are some pictures of the hoodie, let me know what you think!

the procedure was as follows:
take in sides and sleeves
replace zipper
shorten and add new trim
add some funky buttons
sew the peace sign on the back

(yes, the buttons are sewn on with dental floss. it never breaks!)

really, dental floss? how cool is that! The hoodie looks great, its nice to give old clothes a makeover huh!!! Whats the peace sign made of? Buttons?

Thanks Libra! my parents brought that rug back from Morocco on their honeymoon, i believe :)

and yes, dental floss has saved my life so many times, ha. the stuff made for braces is a gift from god =D

actually, the peace sign is just plain ol' checkered fabric, with some yarn outlining the circle. sorry about the lighting, you can't see it at all.
