I enjoyed the list as well. The speech? I think that if Obama gets elected America will say look how far we've come. If Hillary is elected America will say look how far we've come. Meanwhile nothing has changed, and all either candidate had to do was not be John McCain. I don't know that we American's want to confront our demons head-on like Obama is doing. We are much more comfortable pretending we don't have any. Obama might have been a little too honest. Kinda like when President Carter told us we need to cut back and live a more sustainable lifestyle. Unpleasant honesty = shoot the messenger. This speech might hurt Obama.

I really dig his honesty. Too bad its a rule of thumb for politicians to NOT be so forthcoming.

This is so true...I hope not the hurt Obama part. Time will tell.

I give kudos to Peggy Noonan for tackling this speech honestly, even as a conservative. I'm reading all these conservatives just ripping Obama and his pastor, and it's typical hyperbole and rhetoric from the right.

Brilliant speech from Obama, and she nails it.
