The Seven Deadly Sins:

Every single one of those is antithetical to what we as Hippies stand for and so I thought that we (as a community) should come up with a list of what we would consider to be our version of these.

Our list of Virtues … and the number fourteen for some reason pops to mind but is not set in stone.

What, in your opinions, should be on this list?

In the New testament, the book of Galations there appears a list of "fruits of the spirit". Or things that become manifest by spiritual growth and a relationship with the living God.
It goes as follows:Galations 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Longsuffering as used here means patience. These attributes should be the foundational building blocks of the "brotherhood of man". Not only do I aspire to acquire these fruits, the manifestation of them is a milestone as to where I am at in the process. There are 9, choose 1 or choose all. I do.

Sounds good to me but could you go a lil furthther on a few, like meekness?

Id say my personal choices would be

Compassion, so many things go along with that. Once you have that towards people, earth, animals pretty much everything around you becomes real.

Out of the seven the sins that I have the most trouble combatting in my life are wrath and lust, and to a lesser extent, sloth. To counter these, I would think temperence (not being, or course, total abstinence but a reasonable degree moderation) and an attempt to be more humble would do the trick. And perhaps giving up driving. There's nothing that feeds my wrath more than being behind the wheel!
