The poor asparagus looked on while everyone else was picked first.I hate to pick on the asparagus but it isn't exactly the most tasty of the veggies. Most of the time, it isn't it's own fault. It is often overcooked and drenched with a pre-made packaged glorified cheese sauce not worthy of burger king let alone whatever fraudulent restaraunt is trying to serve it.

but then other times it is just nasty on it's own.

I love it! Steamed, baked, grilled! It is my fav veggie. No cheese sauce ever, eew. Asparagus is always getting the shaft,lol

Oh I love asparagus! I steamed a bunch this spring but it's was usually gone before we sat down for dinner. :D

We used to make all sorts of chocolate cakes. Being in the chess club, we used to enhance them w/ performance enhancing "supplements".

I have a weird question about asparagus...

I just read in a book that asparagus makes your pee smell weird, but only certain people are able to smell it. I hate asparagus, so someone tell me, is it true?

That is so true! It can also make "other" bodily fluids taste funky. In men and woman as well. Im not sayin from experience I read it I sware! lol
