How do you customize avatar?

I have a question regarding avatars. WHY can't you customize your avatar? Maybe this question has been asked before, but I had no trouble changing it to one I prefer on a different site so why can it not be done here?

There are some nice ones in the avatar box but I would like to choose one that suits me. :60:

Would it be so hard to do?

on the navigation menu (upper left), you should see User CP


You can change your avatar from there/ and your profile picture (there are two diff. ones)

If you are having problems doing so, just send it to info@happyhippie.com and I'll load it up for u.

I've been dying to know this for ages (good idea GGG - ask the staff!!
DOH!!)

However.....I can edit my profile picture but when I go in to Edit Avatar - there's no option to upload an image.

There isnt a spot for custom avatar options? I go to photobucket and resize the image I want, then upload it. it can only be 80 x 80 pixels. It says enter avatar url??? Maybe its diff for me, I am not sure?

There really isn't an "enter avatar url" option!!

yes there is only the option of either using the HH ones or go naked.

My computer has different things on it.

Dang my absence. Yes, Meg has to turn that option on with each person... I believe. The program has changed over the years.

But I wanted to say that if you have an avatar you want to use (make sure you get permission if it's borrowed) and need it cropped, resized, or anything, give me a shout via PM, and as soon as I can, I'll get you fixed up and sent back to you. I'm a graphic artist by trade.

It worked with that girl Robin so many years ago.... of course, then again, it worked for at least 150 other guys on Robin as well.

not to say that Meg is as easy as Robin.
