no king yet
but admittedly it has been about 6 years of trial and error, just in the last few years i have "perfected" my technique.
as for the paintjob. first off it needs new buttcheeks and a couple other rusty spots fixed.
back in the days of ACVWJYRO (http://www.inertia.org/ACVWJYRO/acvwjy/index.htm) before it closed this wonderful old fella named AJ owned and operated it, he let me stay down there sleeping in the back of my busses on occasion (blending in with his collection)
AJ drove the clubhouse, and old bus that he would take to car shows, lay out a tarp and let little kids paint, he would hand out little cups of paint and brushes and stuff. the bus was mostly white but adorned with swirlies and smileys and handprints and such (it was exterior latex house paint)
i was thinking along those lines, but it would be totally bitchin if somewhere amongst the chaos of the kids art i could morph a jerry garcia or a peace sign or somethign along those lines, kinda like Phil fung's art.

but you get the idea. the troubles i have are working out how to get a bunch of tiny children to reproduce a moassic ish jerry garcia
i do want the colors of the top to blend into the paint when it's all said and done
