I'm gonna see Bob Dylan!!

I managed to score a FREE ticket to see Bob Dylan AND a backstage pass to boot as well.
On the 4th of July too.

I grew up listening to his music and I am so excited - though when I meet him I will probably drool and stutter like a love struck teenager (no offence to droolers!)

Is anyone else here a fan? Has anyone seen him before?

When I meet him what questions shall I ask him?

Congratulations. I've never seen Dylan in concert. There have been times, I have been told, when it is a treat and times when it isn't; from all reports his performances are great at this time.

Depending on how the backstage meet happens, you may not get to ask anything. If you get the opportunity, it might be best to go spur of the moment.

i have seen him twice, phil and friends opened both times

super great shows and he did tangled up in blue, which is my favorite


i tried to get tickes for him this summer in poland but my contact over there said they sold out and he got there an hour after they went on sale. he has stolen me some handbills though

Awesome Hedge!!!!!!!!!!! Wooo hoooo!!!!! Id be excited too, wow, what to ask? I dont know, I met Joan Baez once and all I could do was ask for her autograph and all I had for her to sign was a dollar bill, she laughed and said shed love to deface government property :D


Ive seen him before too, with phil lesh also. It was amazing, I was thinkin I wouldnt understand a word of it but every song was perfect!

I've seen Dylan several times. Once with Phil and friends, once with the Brian Setzer Orchestra (weird combination, huh?) once with Willie Nelson, and I'm forgetting a few, I'm sure. I can't imagine what I would do if I was able to meet him. Wow. I would probably stutter and say something stupid. I met Arlo Guthrie once, and that is pretty much what I did then.

Didn't get to go back stage but all I can say is WOW!!!!!
We were right up the front leaning on the barrier it was ACE!

He ROCKED!!!
His band ROCKED!!!
