Shea Butter Soap (from Soothing Soaps by Sandy Maine)
2 cups glycerin soap base, melted in a double boiler
2 tbsp shea butter, melted separately
Several drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)
Mix well, pour into molds (you can use regular food storage containers), and cool.
NOTE: If you have never made soap before, please read up on the basics. Many formulas require molds for the soap and tell you proper storage of materials. There are also ways to remove the soap from molds with-out breakage. Some recipes might require you to use Lye and that can burn the skin if mixed with water.
