everyone was having green houses trucked in, leed certified when assembled. way to build your DOA economy folks, truck in factory built houses and slap them together.

i dislike modular homes, great for the green factor being leed certified but good lord, modified trailers in tornado alley...

I didnt see it, but I was hoping it wouldnt be a money making scam. Were the modular homes at least built here,lol. Seriously? They should also include in the show that the products be made in amerca, oh my.

I saw that. Totally glorified trailers. Will blow away w/ one puff. If you lived thru that storm, and wanted to stay..what on EARTH would make someone want to live in a lightweight fluffball house. LEED certified or not - wooo hoo..there goes my LEED certified KITE..up the sky!

I liked the one house w/ the foam supports and concrete being pored in the walls. Very energy efficient - looks solid.
