Just wanted to tell everyone who is new (or you oldsters) to the board, that there are MANY threads that you might not be aware of.
Really? How so Unkle John?
Well, it's easy. See the first tab in the brown bar under the logo? It's says User CP. CP stands for Control Panel. Click it.
You'll then see a new window with a vertical bar on the left side with tabs that say:
Your Profile
Edit Your Details
Edit Profile Picture
Networking
Contacts & Friends
Social Groups
Pictures & Albums
Settings & Options
Edit Avatar
Edit Signature
Edit Email & Password
Edit Options
Edit Ignore List
... etc.
Click on the tab Edit Options under the Settings and Options tier.
A new window will appear that will have boxes titled: Login & Privacy, Messaging & Notification, and so on. Scroll down to the box that says: Thread Display Options.
In the Thread Display Options window you'll see:
Thread Display Mode
Make sure it's set to your liking. Many people want it linear - oldest first, that means when you click on a thread, you'll see the first post and you'll have to scroll down or go to the last page (if it's a long conversation) to read something recent. It's your prerogative on how you want that.
Underneath that you'll see a box for Number of Posts to Show Per Page. That too is up to you. I set mine at 40 (the max).
Underneath that you'll see Default Thread Age Cut Off. Click the drop down box and click "show all threads".
Then at the very bottom of this screen you'll see Save Changes. Click that.
And there you go. I don't know why this message board program is set up to only show a limited amount of conversations (threads), but with our recent upgrade, it might not be a problem. If you decide to reset your account to see all threads, we encourage you all to read up on old subjects and please. by all means, respond to old posts. We encourage it!
