Anyone here have or had a freak-out room?
What about a place where you like to go and meditate?
I do.
Here is what it looked like before we moved in:

My area is in the back.
Here is my space now:

Yeah it looks messy, but it actually isn't.
The flash really reveals alot of chipped or miscolored paint. Truth is this room doesn't get used year round. The whole attic (along with the house) isn't insulated. Yeah. So it gets VERY hot in the summer and pretty cold in the winter. WE plan on changing that soon. JuJu and I set up our old nintendo so we could go up there and play together. I also have "toys" to play with like a cube labyrinth and other hand held puzzles. I also have a strobe, some psychedelic motion lights, one of those weird light bulbs that has "horns" all over it, and black light set up to make the posters glow... like this:

Yeah it's a little bigger so you can see some detail. It's hard to photograph black light with my camera. So what does your area look like.

The unicorn poster and glow in the dark items are my fav. Too fun. What is that little green guy on the upper left? A gremlin?

LOL The unicorn is JuJu's poster.. I think she has over 200 unicorns and dragons. The green thing in the corner is a glow in the dark Godzilla (from the crappy US Godzilla movie that came out some time ago). But it looks cool after it's been bathed in black light. We plan on getting a small futon to put up there for guests and to use for game play. I'll take pics when ever that happens.
Thanks Adam!

The coolest thing about freaking out, outside, is that there is no one aound to tell you that your freaking out. The Trees don't mind, and the Sky does'nt care.

Definately outdoors for getting out negetivity - mother earth just sucks it all up for us and returns it as positivity...Valuable resource we should all use her.. stomping your feet on the ground is a great way to get rid of negetivity. The less you have on your feet the better, you will notice the differences if you stomp around indoors vs. outdoors with no shoes on.
I was gunna set up a meditation room in our house but that room went to my 2 pet bunnies instead :)

I meditate in my bedroom, and on walks.
Nothing special, but it works for me.

This is a clip from a movie I remember that had a sweet hidden freak-out room. This is one of those after school specials from the 70's. Yes that's Robby Benson. This is the first time you see the room, but he retreats back too it often in the movie. I always wanted a hidden room in my closet.

I just want an herbal garden... unfortunately I also want to get back to living in a city so it will have to be a rooftop type of thing but then if the pig choppers see the plants growing I could get busted... damn stupid marijuana laws! lol:bat:

A circular garden, with an entry from the south. As big or little as you want. The center becomes kinda' hidden. Goldfish do not eat plants. So much for the cats are like goldfish theory.
