Nothing around my house is straightened up, theres too much else to do, esp this time of year!!

Hell yeah! I'd cut those up and make a dehydrator cabinet to put them in. Cut them thick so you get a chewy variety. Oh man I'm hungry now.

Hey shydog! I wish your apples had bone healing powers! They look delicious! And your sunflower is beautiful! Just thought id say hey to everyone, unknle john, libra, sweet jaine...Now I am also fighting the poison ivy, and i think my partner is picking it up from me, i am using the traditional baking soda paste method. Cant use bleach, he's allergic.. sorry this is about your harvest.... it all looks amazing! and libra's right! there is always plenty to do, especially this time of year. The boys down in Richmond gave me this recipie- 1gallon apple cider, 1/2 gallon apple juice, 2 cups sugar, cinnamon sticks, 2 cups Everclear. Heat first three ingredients to dissolve sugar, once it has cooled, add 2c. Everclear. Add cinnamon sticks per glass bottle. Pour into glass bottles. Calling it "Apple Pie." Thinking about getting one of those presses, just need a little one for now. :cheers:
