Cream of Sasqutuan Melons. As far as Melons go I think they are just the right size. More than a mouthful is a waste. Heritage breed. Seed keepers. Sand Hill Preservation Center. www.sandhillpreservation.com (http://www.sandhillpreservation.com) I refuse to give up! Sand Hill is in Calumus Iowa. They got all the stuff from days gone by.

Heres the last of my harvest. I picked all my tomatoes today, green and red. All my sunflowers too. Some zuc's, peppers and onions. And theres a bunch of peach pits im hoping to get started over the winter ready to plant this spring. I may can the green tomatoes or let them sit to ripen.

Absolutly beautiful. A gifted artist you are for sure, classy. I've tried to carve the fancy Pumkin...always end up doing the triangles. Your son is very talented as well. Does he reads Harry Potter books? Libra you are an awesome Lady.

The gourds are novelty items, picked some up from an Amish roadside vendor last year and replanted. Still getting tomatoes, making them into salsa. Salsa makes a good sloppy joe. The pic needed more light. Thanks Libra.

Im def not an inspiration but thanks :) Those tomaotes are all still sitting right where I left em on that table lol.
Your tomatoes are so shiny, you wash them first?
Ya, tons of seeds!! I havent bought sunflower seeds in years, always just use from the last year.
Im glad fall is here and work has slowed down!

Got a really, really big bucket, like 15 gal. Fill it with water, and a capfull of bleach before picking, then pick so much and transfer to giant bucket, soak however long, (I use an egg basket for a picking bucket,) then sort. Usually end up with lots of salsa grade. Someday when I spend more time with the plants, then it will all be primo.

Last of the tomatoes, it is an orange tomato, I have white ones too. The green winter keepers didn't do so well, I'll try again next year, they are said to be sweet. www.sandhillpreservation.com (http://www.sandhillpreservation.com)
