If your physician would skip these medicines, maybe you should, too

A superb film about one of the most noteworthy evils taking place in the US and other countries that have been subverted by the pharmaceutical industry...The daily drugging of millions of children with powerful psychoactive drugs in order to make them "easier to control."
If you have a child in your life who has been diagnosed as "ADD" or "ADHD" and told he or she must take a drug to control it, make sure you watch this important film. Their life may depend on it.

Ha Ha.... this is funny. I just got diagnosed with ADHD. I can assure you that drugs are the answer!
It turns out that I am not just some moody, pissed off, New England loner... I just needed some meds.
People who knock "big pharma" always make me laugh. 9 times out of 10 it is people who have never even sampled the goods.
I would direct anyone who looked at these first two posts to check out the New England journal of medicine and see what the rates of drugs working to drugs "killing people" are. I think you would be very surpirsed.

Somethings are not for everyone. They work for you, so thats cool.
I think the side effects and aftermath are what concern me. But I dont have to take any of those drugs so I dont have much to worry about. Holistic health works for me. And no one is making millions off of what I can brew up in my kitchen and out of my back yard. :D

hummm.... I was diagnosed as hyperactive when I was a tot in elementary school and a few other things along the way. Along with the numerous meds that I have been on and the worsening of symptoms I even ended up becoming a cutter for a little while because I couldn't feel anything inside due to the meds I was on so I would cut myself to feel pain and assure myself I was alive. Despite everyone saying I was stupid and crazy for doing it I think it helped me keep myself alive through many rough years. Ironically after I stopped seeing a shrink and taking meds I have been feeling a lot better, more in control of my emotions (still struggle with anger a bit because I never learned to deal with that one while I was on ritalin in elementary school), and stopped cutting not even a year after I stopped taking the meds that made me feel dead inside.
With my son being autistic people have suggested giving him meds for his hyperactivity and I refuse to do it. Maybe they would help him but on the other hand maybe they would make him a psychological mess like me.

Just out of curiousity did you watch the Drugging kids video? I'm not implying that you don't need the meds because like they state in the video sometimes it is helpful but not always. There is some interesting information in there including how people on some of the meds have had hallucinations and thoughts of suicide, some even acted upon. It really is a good video and well worth the hour and forty-five minutes to watch.
