I did find it interesting, though I think "trippin'" was the right term.:D I wouldn't advocate removing it but it only took me a google search of Horus to debunk the whole argument.

I looked it up in my ancient gods text book and found most of the gods he mentioned did indeed have the same birth and what not as jesus.

The same birth or the same celebrated birthdate? Christ was actually born sometime in September. His birth is celebrated December 25 because, like so many other Christian holidays, it incorporated the pagan holiday of whatever culture the "christians" were trying to "reform". I can't recall which holiday that was in this case but I'll have to go look it up.

it was claimed in september because of the stars. And the christian holiday of easter just happens to fall on the pagan holiday celebrating spring and growth. Christnas covers over the winter celebrations (they celebrate all the seasons).
The people in major religions today scare me. the fact that they let they religion and the others in it define who they are is sad. Same thing with major sport. All the exitment they get from it, i judt dont get it, they define them selves by the team they follow.

I maybe wrong on some( if not all ) of that but its my opinion.:D

I looked it up. I have read about it before, and I havent found any debunking. Alot of the sites compare the two and the end results are so similar. But its a consipracy theory, kinda. And I find it and stories like it very fascinating.

Always comes back to the pagans though.....always.

December 25 is the Catholic perversion of the birth of Christ to corrispond with winter solstice celibrations. As NCW Woodnymph pointed out Jesus was born in the fall likely during the Jewish Feast of Booths (which is happening now).

Crucifiction was not known untill aproximatly 150 to 200 BC.

The more someone urges you to check their facts the more likely the facts are to be false. Unfortunatly (and the purveyers of falsehoods count on this) most people assume that if they want to have their facts checked it must be true so they don't check.
