I believe you are only seeing one side of the name "The Path". The name, "The Path" refers to not only the religious path that we who post in this sub-forum, but also a homonym for being on a path through the woods. Seeing that us Pagans enjoy being with nature.

Im not sure whhat to call this. I dont believe in some great being in the sky that "made everything". But i do belive that there is a higher calling to life. I have always felt at peace outside and in nature, like it is were i belong. not in an apartment in the city. Thers a spiritual connection I feel at time whenthe world around be gets quite and i just think. not about anything but more like focusing on the energy in me and around me,

I think its a combo of pagan and budhism. Tell me what you think. Id love to hear from some one more enlighted about the world than I. I know im missing parts of the idea in my head (being im only 17 im still not sure whats in my head exactly).:group_hug

A 17 yr old that doesn't know everything? Truely an enlightened one!:D

Just teasing. Seek spirituall realities in your quest not fables and myths.

Between darkness and light we find color. The darkness holds the color captive, the light sets it free. I'm trying to live in the world of color, somewhere between light and darkness.

I'm with Unkle_John here... grey... I like light (as long as it isn't sun light) and I like dark (easier to be sneaky and get away with slightly questionable actions) but greay is such a nice balace between the light and the dark.

What ever happened to psycedelic colors for Hippies? Physical matter is solidified sunlight. Burn some firewood, release a little piece of the sun, keep warm on a cold winter day. Solidified sunlight.

I think its a combo of pagan and budhism. Tell me what you think.

It sounds very much like Daoism (Taoism). You might enjoy reading Lao Tse's "Dao De Jing" (Tao Te Ching), and the works of Zuangzhi (Chuang Tse).

Derek Lin translation of the Dao De Jing (http://www.taoism.net/ttc/complete.htm)

Translations of the Tao Te Ching (http://www.wayist.org/ttc%20compared/all_translations.htm)
That has the Red Pine translation, which is my favorite.

Bear in mind that the Chinese does not translate exactly to English, which is much the reason for reading several translations. It's a short book.

If you like it, then read Zhuangzi, he's got a helluva sense of humor for a mystic.
