Well this thread isn't getting as much use as I thought it would. A lot of us have talked about our little onces but this seems like a good place to put it all together. So here it goes...
I have a little boy named Mikey. He's about four and a half and way to smart for his own good. He is learning to read and write and he is so cute when he is really proud of himself. :D
My second is a little girl named Sammy. She is two and currently potty training. Last night was her first time making it through the night in "big girl panties" so I'm really excited. Apparently she has decided she is a big girl because by the time I got out of bed this morning she had already picked out her own clothes and got dressed. We'll see how long it lasts.:)
Ok so there's mine. Who's next?:hippie:

My little one is nearing 32 years old. I sucked as a father during his young years, though we've gotten tight in recent years. I must say that I am very proud of the man he has become. (And I'd say that even if he wasn't here on the forum. The fact that we share this place says a lot about our relationship.) :hippie:

yeah, I have to agree that we have a pertty darn good relationship, but not that you sucked as a dad growing up, you were always there for me when I needed something and even let me be responsible unlike another parent who we will not discuss.
as for my little one he is 5, named Mykl (pronounced michael) and he is autistic. He started in a regular elementary school this year in kindergarten. Academicly he is doing awesome but not so good in the behavioral area... reminds me alot of myself at that age. :bat::bat:

I think I heard something about it but don't think I actually read up on it. Amusingly the main things that my son eats are fruits and chicken. I can get him to eat some veggies but he really isnt in to red meat at all. Ebu he loves his crabby patties (cheese burgers) damn sponge bob and his day care that let him watch it. lol

A gluten free diet.
http://www.autismweb.com/diet.htm
"The theory is that some people with autism and PDD cannot properly digest gluten and casein, which form substances that act like opiates in their bodies. This "drug" substance alters the person's behavior, perceptions, and responses to his environment, according to this theory. Research in the U.S. and Europe has found substances with opiate activity in the urine of a significant number of children with autism. A doctor can order a urinary peptide test that can tell if proteins are not being digested properly"
Tons of info out there about this. It amazes me!!!!

My boy...
He is 6 years old and wise beyond his years, sweet, caring compassionate, firey lil red head. First grade had him down at the begining but now he is ripping through the books, math, everything they are giving him with flyin colors. Reading at a 3rd grade level, the teacher said his comprehension is amazing. Im a proud Mama. He sometimes has a hard time understanding other kids, and how unkind they can be and that gets him in trouble because he gets so mad at them.
He loves match box cars, monster trucks, bugs, animals, butterflies, gardening, composting, drawing, painting, crafts. He recently started cub scouts and so far he loves it!! Oh and riding bike, hiking, and kayaking. For being only 6 that kid is an awesome kayaker, I try and swim along side him just to be safe and I cant keep up,lol
When Im sick or just tired, had a long day he is there for me. If I have a headache he always tells me to lay down I will get you a cool washcloth for your head mama. A real sweet kid.
He is not just my son, he is one of my greatest friends. BUT he can be a lil shit head just like anyother kid :D He loves to fart on me, thinks its a riot. Ick.

I have a 4 year old little girl. She is beautiful and smart. She has a very curious mind, and loves asking questions. I don't always have the answer, but I do try. She keeps me curious, too. She loves monster trucks, coloring books, and her new hot pink big wheel. She picks trash up off the ground and says Mama...this is RECYCLING! She really gets mad litter. And she told me this morning she loves me big as the sky. I'm one lucky mama.

Interesting! I recently found out im hyper sensitive to cow dairy and gluten. It gives me wicked head aches. Had migrains for 5 years and the medical doctors could fix anything. even put me in the hospital fo rthem and still couldnt figure it out. They flew doctors in the check me out and NOTHING.
When to a woman the does chinese medicine and homiopithy (hope i spelled that right.) She put needles in my (little ones it was cool). Then she hooker me up to this machine and found out everything wrong with me from how i was feeling to the pinched nerve in my neck to my diet problems.
She put me on a special diet and my head has been alot better. (still have headaches but their not as bad or frequent.)
It was really cool. Anyways i know im off topic but had to share about the gluten stuff.

I had a Strawberry Shortcake big wheel when I was a kid. My daughter was pretty jealous when I told her that, but the hot pink one is a nice substitute!

On the topic of kids I have 5.
#1 came along with the love of my life. She's 26 and an incredible nurse like her mother. I've only gotten to be her dad for 3 years now so she hasn't realized fully how wonderfull I am. LOL
#2 is 25 and regularly in attendance on this site. Wonderfull mother of two, which she has described above, and devoted wife of my favoite son-in law (I have to say that, he might peek);)
#3 is 24, the mother of a girl,3 and two boys, 2 and 1. yup, I think she's done. finally figured what causes that. She's also studying to be a nurse... in her spare time. She is a fantastic and loving mother.
#4 is 21 has a boy and a girl 1 and 3 respectively and lives too far away. She loves her kids and is a nut about animals.
#5 is #1 son and soon to be 16. He has just recently come to live with me since his mother, whom we won't discuss, threw him out. He's a great kid and his arrival is the answered prayer of 7 years.

My little Willow...
She is just about 4 months old now. She'll hit 4 months on the 23rd. She is my heart and soul. Such a little cutie too! It is so amazing to watch her learn and develop everyday. She is fascinated by colors right now. Last week she discovered how to roll over! It's hard to believe how strong she is already. I love her to death and I'm so glad I get to stay home with her everyday. We'll see how long we wait before we start working on a little brother or sister for her!!

Mine is Sarah, she's 5, 6 in December. But sadly:bawl: some people thought I wasn't a fit Mum (I use hemp for a medical condition) so I don't have her with me.
I get to send pictures and gifts 3 times a year. I get letters and pictures back from her adoptive parents 3 times a year.
I don't know where she is, but I do know the last name. So that's a start.
If my market garden can raise me enough money I'm going to contest the adoption because they forced me to give her up-and since then I've found out that's illegal.
I detest interfering busybodies!
In the meantime I work in the garden and work on getting my house and myself fit, and I've got medical evidence that the hemp helps and doesn't interfere with how I function now. So those social workers and others had better look out-I'm going to get my girl back!
