New Study Reveals Bottled Water Loaded With Chemicals
Washington (ChattahBox) - A new study released by the environmental advocacy group, the Environmental Working Group has revealed that some brands of bottled water are loaded with potentially harmful chemicals.
They carried out their study by looking at 10 brands of bottled water over a period of two-years.
Over the course of the study, they detected over 35 different chemicals, with an average of 8 different chemicals in each bottle of water.
The scary part of this is the fact that some of these chemicals have been linked to the development of cancer.
Examples of the chemicals found include caffeine, different types of bacteria, fertilizer, etc.
Out of the 10 brands, 2 of them contained levels of chemicals that were unsafe. These included Sam’s Choice sold by Wal-Mart and Acadia sold by Giant Food supermarkets.
