This is nothing new; it happened back in the 1960's there as well. I was very involved in the peace movement, volunteered at the Anti-War Mobilization office, and was a registered conscientious objector. I had my picture taken at a number of protests. When I registered for college in 1970 I was told that the school "would not tolerate any disruptive activities" by me.

I have very good reason to believe that the FBI and IRS were also involved. I was an under-paid hospital worker yet had my taxes audited; they called me in because I listened to a not-so-good lawyer about a child support issue.

Sad to see that history is indeed repeating itself. :(
