How freakin holy does she think McCain and Palin are, come on people, wake up!!!!! Honestly religion scares the crap out of me.They are trying to be so conservative and that is radical to me.

Religious beliefs is what is tearing us apart.

Palin is fearful of other religions (the protection of wich craft proves that). Its sad that religions fear eachother. Wicca (wich craft) is simply a more advanced religion based around the earth and not some great father god that does and makes EVERYTHING.:ufo:

Disagreement does not equall fear. Not refering to Palin specificly.

Were it not for the Christian concept of freedom of consience that was one of the founding principals of this country NO religeon could be practiced freely in this country.

Also, were it not for the Christian concept of equlity of the sexes more women than just Moslems would be having their vaginas sewed shut.

And PLEASE do not belabor me with accounts of excesses in the name of Christianity perpetrated by political entities which clearly violated both the Bible and common sense.

You are aware that the ideas of "freedom of consience" and "equlity of the sexes" pre-date Christianity right?

When Christians say witchcraft they actually mean satanism, generally the animal sacrificing, blood loving kind, not wicca which is more or less the opposite and runs along the lines of the Native American and Celtic traditions. It's a lack of information, most have never even heard of Wicca and unfortunately in a lot of "Christian" groups there is a fear that if one studies another religion they might get pulled in. I personally don't think a lack of knowledge ever did anyone any good.:)
As to Wicca being more advanced...there have always been two groups going back to the beginning, those who worshiped a creator and those who worshiped the creation and there are plenty of versions of each. I don't think that makes one more advanced, it's just a choice of how you want to look at the world and your part in it.

And that would be where? In most pre Christian societies women were little more than slaves. For that matter, most societies today that have no Christian background still abuse women.

This country was founded on Native American principles.

Quotes from the prophets:
"Adam is God and the only god with whom we have to do."
"As man is God once was , As God is man will be"
Sorry, that is not the eternally existant creator God of Christianity. No offense intended.
While modern Mormonism is far closer to Christianity than in the past a hous with no foundation is still a shakey structure.
Had an uncle who was a Mormon elder, got a Book of Mormon on my shelf. still looking for a copy of the... darn can never remember the name of the book that contains the words of the prophets... the something and something.
Modern Mormonism does increasingly resemble evangelical Christianity but the core errors are still there.
I like Mormons. I admire Mormons. In many ways they do "out Christian" many Christians, but the basic presupositions are still different.

You were related to an infidel?

I am a fan of the big bang. feel free to point out the errors in what i bielieve too, I'll pass your corrections on to the scientific community so we can get the world worshiping in the right direction again

Dissagreement in no way requires dislike. Pointing out factuall errors is not an attack.

As to the Big Bang, first there was nothing and then it exploded. Makes sense to me.:D

So what your saying is that no matter how peoples view changes, if their first view is not what it is today then it will always be wrong?

If anyone rejects past error and recognizes it as such, of course that past is not relevant.

II Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

But this is predicated on rejecting the error.

I have no doubt that there are many Christians amoung mormons but the organization still stands on its errors.

Absolutely no intention to be combative or nasty here. Really:)
