Halloween Candy Warning

Libra sent me this :) - and not sure if she posted elsewhere here yet, but it's worth posting again.

With all the melamine in milk powder in the US - please be extra careful to label check this year to make sure your childs candy is not made in China.

Target just had a cute 'Domokun' line of candy - all made in China. It's a shame Target still does this.

Please watch the video and pass on this information, whether you have kids or not. Its scary to me and I hope it is to you. With the recent scare in china about tainted powdered milk, we all should be aware of what kinds of candy we give out on halloween. Its in alot of the candies the stores here sell, powdered milk is a main ingredient.


PLEASE PASS THIS ON. Even if none of the candy is tainted its still good to be aware of what our children could potentially be eating.

I saw condom jewelry years ago. Not made from condoms, but with the little packs hanging on earings, etc. I agree, some things are not meant to be recycled.

Heres some more info on the halloween candy scare!

Kris and I are going to this nieghborhood trunk or treat party where all the families are coming together the kids will trick or treat from trunk to trunk(of cars) theres games, hayrides, hot cocoa. Its going to be fun, plus we will know everyone and alot of people are giving out handmade, healthy treats. I guess alot of nieghborhoods are doing this, and churches too. I think its a great idea, you have to register first so they know who is giving out what.

It kinda makes me sad though, trick or treating was so fun when I was a kid, going door to door and feeling safe. All thats gone.

I remember when I was younger and people always warned you to carefuly examone each piece of candy for pin prigks because people would lace the candy with narcotics and/or put needles or other silly crap in the candy. Altho it never stopped me and my friends from going around 2 or 3 different times in different costumes.
