1 Large jar
1 Clear strand of 20 indoor mini-lights
1 6 or 8 inch crocheted doily (arts and craft stores have them)
1 large bag potporri with red and green accents
Essential oil of your choice (optional)
plastic garland beads (optional)
1/4 inch ribbon
Arrange the light strand loosely in the jar so it spirals upward. Fill with potpourri, and add a few drops of essential oil (if applicable).
Thread the ribbon through the large openings of the doily. (These form a circle and are located about 3-4 inches away from the center.) Place the doily on top of the jar, draw the ribbon tightly around the neck of the glass vessel and tie it in a bow.
