3 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 egg
1 cube chicken, liver, or beef bouillon
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt

Place water, bouillon, and margarine in a large bowl; microwave on high for one minute. Stir in all other ingredients, and add the flour last. Dough will be stiff. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick on a lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 325 degrees F for 35-40 mins (biscuits should be hard). Turn off heat and leave in the oven for one hour.

I'm making Christmas baskets again. I'm going to have the kids help me make these and take a picture of them cooking to include with the basket.:D They're really excited about making dog biscuits.

Not dog biscuits, but the lovely Woodnymph has also done some wonderful soups with the dry ingrediants in a quart jar. Really good!!

I do dog biscuits every year, except I use little Christmas cookie cutters in addition to the bone-shaped one I usually use. I have a recipe for cat treats too.
