Here are a lists of websites I found that promote handmade gifts.

buynothingchristmas.com (http://www.buynothingchristmas.org/alternatives/index.html)

A homemade Christmas (http://familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts/season/specialfeature/holiday_gifts_ms/)

If you don't have the time to make, at least buy from someone who makes gifts. Many can be found here (http://www.etsy.com/).

Please add on to this list.

Savon, if you haven't already, you should set you up a virtual store to help bring more business. On Etsy.com

John I could kiss you! I didn't get enough herbs for the tea baskets I had planned so I've been racking my brain to figure out what to do instead. That first site had the perfect idea. I'm going to get started this weekend. THANK YOU!:D

Thanks for all the great gift ideas. I try to make each of my grandchildren something every year. A few years ago I made each one a quillow - they all loved them.

GREAT ideas there - some truly wonderful gifts. I LOVE home made gifts - they are so personal and have an energy about them like no other gift does!
I'm sure I've posted this here before but gifts in a jar are a nice idea as well and a great way of recycling glass jars.
Home made truffles and biscuits always go down well too, they'll never end up thrown in the back of the closet!
