So... we voted for change, what do YOU think will be a change for the better?
I'm thinking about having a beer at 2:30 at break time, just like they do in Europe and it's O.K. Guiness Stout.
It's really just an attitude change. Who's in? We voted for change right?

As to the main question, changes for the better that I see are:
Actually talking to people to work out problems instead of bombing them.
Holding corporations responsible for their actions.
Removing the cameras and microphones from our homes.
Trying to restore the middle class.
Letting the three branches of government work together instead of having one person be the "decider." :hippie:

Agree, and what about all the stress that is built into our society, I am all for reducing the stress levels. Did someone say our guy is in favor of a little herbal remedy? We voted for change and now is the time for us to bring about change. The people have spoken. We now have a mandate.
When did this camera and microphone thing happen?

When did this camera and microphone thing happen?
Just a bit of exageration. The Patriot Act gave the government so much power to spy on anyone they consider dangerous that I could see the camera and microphone thing happening. But then too, I'm somewhat paranoid due to my experiences in the anti-war movement in the 60's. Nixon and J Edgar were not shy in spying on Americans, or using agencies like IRS to punish us "evildoers."

hahaha that is the exact reason that I have a tracfone.. it isn't tied to my name with an account, it just works as long as I keep minutes on it..... sure the calls can be listened to but I'm hoping it's a bit harder to track down the person that owns it. lol

Restoring the middle class. I've heard of different methods of taxation that could bring jobs and the middle class back to prosperity. I don't have alot of details but something about a federal sales tax, anyone heard anything about it? It would be better becuase a poor person who cannot spend alot would not be taxed alot, people would be taxed according to what they spend. It would also take the tax burdens away from corporations, making the U.S. a very appealing place to do business.

Shydog,
I have heard of those proposals and am a big believer that all taxes should be eliminated and replaced with a national sales tax. Take political manipulation out of the revenue stream and force congress to take care of business. Problem is the entrenched politicoes won't give up any tax so we would wind up with the sales tax on top of the rest.

I was having a discussion with one of these guys about how when he makes a kill he simply calls in on the cell, this fills the tag. I also pointed out that his kind are a rare breed, not quite domesticated.
If big brother wants to round all these guys up, it would be easy, considering the system used.
All "they" need is a "special force".
