"The disappearance of the Church of the Resurrection, some 186 miles north-east of Moscow, was not immediately noticed. It was in an out-of-the-way area and was not being used, although Church officials were considering resuming services there. "

Stealing a church is quite a feat. In high school - we hid a friend's VW bug, and it wasn't easy.

LOL!
But seriously....It's a shame the church was left and neglected to begin with......it's only when something is gone that we really understand and appreciate it's true worth.

HHNS:NORTH POLE December 24 2008 -
Santa Claus's departure for his annual
rounds was briefly delayed due to an
accident earlier today.
The pile up occurred after the eight-deer
sleigh slid off of the taxiway during the
initial approach for takeoff.
Santa was dug out of a nearby snowdrift
by airfield elves who reported that the
Claus Man was bemused but none the worse
for his experience.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
