After many false starts, I have come to the conclusion that a band is not happening. I have a bunch of new songs to record that require a band and I want to have that full sound when I perform. I have finally decided to dust off my old Alesis MIDI sequencer and a Roland sound module and have started to program backing tracks of drums, bass, and keyboard for both the recording and live performances. I can then play guitar and sing along with my imaginary band.
I have programmed and recorded the title song, Hope Will Grow and also recorded two other cuts that are just guitar or guitar and vocals. These were just written yesterday and grow out of experimenting with a new effects pedal for my guitar. I plan to continue programming and recording songs and hope to have the CD done early in 2009.
I have also made some changes to the website, including adding the first three recordings to the media player. Check it out, and let me know what you think. (But be gentle; I'm fragile.) :hippie:

We just got a didge too...after we master it, we could provide some aboriginal sound backup (w/ Cowboy). ;)

Dear Gary have you ever watched?...
Concept
In the Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends universe, imaginary friends become physical beings the instant a child imagines them; unlike how the concept often works on other shows, an Imaginary Friend is totally real, and can be seen, heard and felt by all under most circumstances. Unfortunately for them, the children outgrow them. When this happens, the friends are left to fend for themselves. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was founded by the elderly Madame Foster to provide a foster home for abandoned imaginary friends.
