Colon cleansing

Anyone know anything about these "natural" colon cleansing products? Most of the info on the internet seems to be tied to a specific company hawkin' their goods. Any info would be cool.

Seriously, there is a product I have used that's a little pricey, but worth it.
I paid $28.95 for it, but it was at a friend's herb shop, so I was supporting her. Here are a few sites about it.

I dunno, I cna't bring myself to even think about using a colin cleaner. Sounds like it would be a pain in the arse and rather crappy all around. :bat:

The one I just posted is really gentle too, its not a pain and doesnt make you go round the clock. It really cleans you out thats for sure but no diareah or running to the potty. Your stomach even gets flatter afterwards, that was wierd. Your colon can build up over time and its amazing how many pounds you shed during a cleanse.

That one is expensive but its the best Ive ever tried.

Thanks guys. I was looking at this one website that had pictures.... OMG! Some guy was passing freaking Aliens! This material looked like seaweed, and he wasn't the only one as others had posted pictures as well. Does the weight come right back Denise? Not that it matters. Unless you're losing fat I think that what you weigh is what you weight. I want to feel better and ensure that I am processing food properly. So how often do you do this? Is it a clean out then high fiber for maintenance ? Thanks for your help, you guys are # 2! I mean #1 !:D

I do it to keep it clean in there, your digestive system can build up a ton of toxins and cleansing keeps that in check. And the one I take comes with a probiotic too, so as you remove bad bactria the pro biotics add back the good bacteria which is important, really important esp when cleansing. Sometimes they can wipe your system of all bacteria which isnt good. A good colon cleanse is great for your whole body not just your colon.

I didnt "gain" the wieght back. It was all impacted waste left in your colon which will build back up over time though esp if you dont eat enough fiber. Not to be gross but I couldnt believe the amount that came outta me, like 5 times more a day then normal, it was insane. Not everyday while I did the cleanse either but most days it was that much then my body get more regular towards the end. And drink a TON of water to help get rid of even more. I would totally recomend a good colon cleanse to anyone, once you do it, you'll be amazed at the difference. My skin even felt smoother and softer, hair and nails grew faster too.

I did and I was skeptical but it was worth it. But you have to follow the directions start out slow, take the pills as directed drink the green sludge etc... I really felt great after I did it. Things came outta me that looked like it had been there since I was born :D It was strangely exciting, disgusting and relieving all at the same time. LOL
Oh and the tea, you drink the tea at night before bed and its great tasting tea, I loved it. Its a whole process for sure but its one that works and its all natural.

Thanks Denise. I'm gonna do it. I did a free trial of something called colon rx, I don't know, it had alot of the same ingredients of the milk thistle blend my wife takes as a liver cleanser. I was wondering if it wasn't Metamucil in a capsule. But since you have been the guinea pig so to speak and vouch for this stuff.... I'll let you know how everything comes out.;) Or not. lol

P.S. I did lose some weight while taking the other product, but I don't eat alot, and have been exercising. That could be why.

The wieght you loose is gunk thats been in your colon for a long long time, its built up over time lining your intestines and when you cleanse it all comes out and it can be many many pounds of gunk for some people. Gross I know but its the only way to describe it. :D

Im on day two of my cleanse. I can actually tolerate drinking that sludge now I mix it with this super green smoothie juice, cant remember the name but it it good.

I'm starting up again. That stuff is kinda addicting. I am not too keen on the way I feel the first two or three days, but then I can really tell it's working..bloat goes down.

I have enough left over to do about 1/2 month. The sludge is nasty..I just down it really fast in water - and I mean SUPER FAST before it has time to 'set up'.

I get super tired feeling at first and no appetite at all.

Theres this mega green juice I get that has spirolina in it, taste great and totally hides the sludge taste. But the parasite pills make me burp the worst taste ever, grossss. When I get home I will see exactly what its called, you gotta try it.
