One of the many things on my to do list was to trim up the venetian blinds
After we put in the new windows we blocked the glare with some venetian blinds, cheap, easy, quick, although I do prefer drapes, and those will come eventually.
We bought enough for all the windows, proper width, fit perfect, but they could be used for windows that were a whole lot taller.

So I trimmed them up made them look all nice. Twas an easy job and I bet if I were an instruction reading sort of man, I might have learned this long ago.
The excess slats had been sitting around for a few weeks,
little bit of over and under and a touch of through and wallah!

Good re-using and good project if you happen to run out of sandpaper while making a banjo
