I don't know about Karma, luck and fate, but that friend of yours has got one very positive attitude, that's for certain.

With every intention of threadjacking, this reminded me of a DMV story. While pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I had to buy a new (new to us, at least) car because we had been sharing one and thought it best that when our baby came we never have question marks lingering about sickness and dr's appointments and car pooling. This involved a trip to the DMV. At eight months pregnant I broke my ankle. And when we bought the car, I was nine months pregnant and still in a cast up to my knee.

Let me tell you, they saw a pregnant lady about to pop with a broken ankle come huffing and puffing into their busy-as-hell-lifetime-wait-DMV and pushed me right up to the front of the line, being pleasant, smiling and asking how I felt over and over an over.

I swear, I'm never going there without a fake prego suit and fake cast again!!!! :p

Marijuana is the cure for the DMV blues. I used to have to sit at DMV for hours on end when i worked for a car dealership, and I'm tellin' you the only way it's tolerable is if you burn a big bowl of high grade bud first. :rolleyes:
