When I saw her in richmond Virginia, on her votedammit tour during the elections, she had just cut her dreds. Yes, her new cd is awsome!!!!!! :)

You beat me to it! I was going to post and ask you! I wish I could've seen her. Oh well.

Yeah, her dreads have been gone for a long time now. I think they might have even been gone before Educated Guess came out. Yet, SOMEHOW she managed to still have hair after they said their good- byes. When I cut mine out, I had less than an inch!!!!!


I really like her new album as well.

So does my baby. She grooves out, especially to Lag Time.

Happy happy joy joy...I am doing a happy dance because for valentines day my best friend and I were surprised with Ani tickets last night...YEAH! We get to see her this Teusday!!!! :D

Ani was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I am really bad with names of songs but she played knucled down, studying stones, recoil, here for now, and evolve to name a few...She went off on some spoken word and in general just rocked out hard. It was just her and her acoustic guitar, a violen player(a guest whose name I can't remember) and her acoustic bass player. We saw her play in the Appollo in Hollywood, which is very small so the setting was intimate. It was great..I had a blast! :)
