Missouri has a lot of caves too - this would be a fun project. We had friends who quit their jobs, moved to missouri to run a 'caving' company - catering to day time tourist who wanted to see stalagtites, etc. The problem was there were not enough tourists to support the biz. Also, a nearby mining company would do unannouced blastings that would shake their cave violently, causing damage and making things dangerous. So, they moved back. Oh well, they tried. Good life experience, right?
