Stick Bugs!

Last night, I was feeling miserable, so I finally broke down and took an allergy pill. My mistake was it was right before bed & I'm sensitive to any type of OTC pills. So I paid for it!! - All night, it felt like I had the marathon long dream about a Stick Bug invasion.

In my dream, I was walking thru my garden to the house, and I spotted some stick bugs (babies) which is not a big deal. But then I spotted some medium size ones of different shades of green and brown on my light post, and then even bigger ones on my stoop railing.

I went inside, and HUGE 3 ft. long stick bugs were in my house, on the sides of walls, pictures, chairs and they were all making a clicking sound.

I ran around the house trying to figure out how many there were and how they could of possibly reproduced so quickly. I was desperately looking for gloves, and couldn't find any. I wanted to remove them, although I was unsure how to get rid of the GIANT ones that were everywhere.

I woke up in a cold sweat.

If you haven't seen what a stick bug looks like, here is a link. We really do have Indian Stickbugs in our yard,and they are considered a major pest/threat to our area.

ha ha Im surprised you could even fall asleep, some of those allergy medicines have stuff that make you speedy.

...and believe it or not, they have wings. I saw one flying once, like gigantic grasshopper wings. It landed, folded it's wings, and ta da! A stick insect. Oh yeah, they will spit on you if you bother them too much.

P.S. I was not on any meds, I really saw it.
