omg :eek: That was hilarious. I don't think it's for real, tho. It just gets more and more bizzare as you read. He believes there should be more rednecks? LOL. Archie Bunker (carroll O'Conner's All in the Family character) reminded him of his dad? lol lol.

I think he's totally making fun of the ultra conservatives.

I noticed some of the hippy pictures were Manson family members (including Charles).

I bet it's some hippy trying to show how stupid the conservatives can be.

The phone number listed is actually a Tulsa, Oklahoma (http://www.bennetyee.org/ucsd-pages/area.html) number, and quick searches (http://www.google.com/search?q=johnny+lee+clary) of this person all talk about Oklahoma. The website is made and maintained by Oh Wow! Graphics (http://ohwowgraphics.com/), which is anything but a good looking and well designed website (maybe back in 1995)... They used to be (http://ohwowgraphics.com/formerly.htm) a Christian oriented design shop called "psalmist.net" (no longer in existence). Can I stress enough how ugly and horrible these websites are?

I scrolled down read a few paragraphs there and left. Those people are disturbing.

I'm not really that disturbed by this.

I feel genuinely sorry for this misguided man who has so much hatred. I read his biography and about his tormented life. He has so much anger and a need to direct it at someone, or a demographic of someone's.

He seems to feel that Christianity saved him from his former self and is grateful for that. For whatever reason, some people find this salvation and are unable to allow other people the freedom to find their own. They are incapable of it, really. He is angry with people who oppose him. He is angry with the hippies he met in southern California because they chose a different path than his. Because they chose not to work day jobs or live in a manner that he appreciated.

And his experiences might be legitimate.

But they don't speak for the demographic of people who share a common ideology.

I've seen what he's talking about. You frequent enough festivals and you see the kids who are just there for the drugs and will steal anything from anyone to buy a new hair wrap or screw over their best friend for a ride to West Virginia.

This DOES exist.

But I don't think there's much of it here, on this site.

And after you've been around the block a few times (I just keep going around and around the same damn block) you begin to recognize who's for real and brush off who isn't.

And there are a lot of awesome people who are accepting and kynd and good.

So, I am sorry that this guy is so confused and so prejudiced. I'm sorry that his experiences have been so bad and his life has been so tragic.

I hope he can sleep at night.

I hope that before he dies, he's able to stop hating and can begin accepting.

PeaceYes, he has picked the real monsters that messed it up for all us peaceful hippies. Someone that dysfunctional and extreme is only going to see the extreme people that happened to dress like hippies, and claim to be hippies.

As far as his Christian salvation claim- I think he's a big con man, had too much trouble with the KKK and chose to go after people through a fake spiritual claim. I could be wrong. He says he is saved but his "fruits" show differently to me. HE speaks of hate and killing. He took a small part of Ecclesiatics and tried to make it look like it means we're evil for not wanting a war.

It's almost like one person wrote his salvation testimony and another person wrote the rest.

He's the same as all the red blooded Americans who hate EVERYONE with pale brown skin and silky black hair because of 9-1-1. They think they're ALL terrorists. There are so many around.
