Greetings from a faraway land. I'm James.
I lost the girl of my dreams last year. Today I decided to get out of the slump I am in and take my mother out on a special day, because my mother has been a great comfort to me and my father is on call the whole day at the hospital. Right now I can't think of anyone else to share Valentines with. The flowershop ran out of roses today so I bought everything else. Are the flowers too much? And ladies, what do you think would my mother like more? A fancy dinner somewhere or a picnic? I can't cook to well but if you think it's better I am going to try my absolute best to cook something edible. Or do you think I should kidnap my father from the hospital so they could spend the evening together?

Hmmm...it depends on what your Mom likes. Would she like it if you cleaned her house up for her. Most women will never say no to that :D
How many flowers did you buy?
Kidnapping is illegal
Peace,
Cassandra

Hello Cassandra.
I don't think there is anything else to clean. Mother came from a long line of neat freaks. I bought a little over a hundred dollars worth of flowers, 5720 Philippine pesos worth. About half a room. I meant kidnap as talk to his other colleagues into taking him out of the hospital and into my car and help him get ready for a date with my mother, and he won't pay a single cent. Good idea? or Bad idea?

granolamomma, you made me blush. :) But really, sweet is the last thing I can think of to describe me being a son, I hurt my parents a lot in the past. I'm trying to make up for it though.
then that it is. tell you about what happened later. thank you ladies.

Alright this is what happened. Had 2 female friends haul mother out of the house for shopping (The three single friends of mine who were helping me, and who happened to be female said that this is a female stress reliever ), and visited a spa where I get huge discounts because I knew the daughters of the owner. Called dad's colleagues and told them about the plan, some of them didn't like it heh, but I managed to get help from the nurses (Gotta love the nurses!). Picked up dad, bought him clothes, quick stop back to the hospital because of a patient, hauled dad back to the car, made him shower and wear new clothes. While dad was doing his thing. Me and a friend arranged the flowers in the living room so that mother will notice the flowers when she gets home, friend said it was hard not to notice the flowers :D. Another friend dropped off an overpaid violinist because it was last minute. Put a table near the garden, lit lots of candles, burned a part of the table cloth, set the food, make it as if I cooked them but it was obvious I didn't
I told them I was spending the night in a friends house. But I watched them dance before I left. 32 years of marriage. A friend jokes about me having girly emotions and thought I looked as if I was going to cry, or as if I had indigestion. Walked friends back to their apartment.
Bought a few beers, went to another garden in which is also the girl I love's final resting place, talked to the girl I love. After a few hours two friends who were with me earlier arrived there, and now I'm here at their apartment. Still couldn't sleep. But hey, I got to spend Valentine's Day with a pair of twins and another girl, and now I'm in the twins' apartment. That's every guys' fantasy right there. Hehe.
I think my friend was right. I am turning soft. Lol.

I don't think that's a good idea BandAide, I'm a very bad boy. :(
But I hope your kids would turn out to be great. :)

But it was for me, it was for my parents. I am just giving them back a fraction of the love they gave me.
Careful with the comments now, my head is starting to swell up the size of a big watermelon... :D

Jamie, when you read this when you wake up, you promised not to go there unless you had someone with you. I am putting this in a public forum so you'd remember. Don't go there again without someone okay?
Luv ya bro.
