Saturday he got the hose out, created a tiny mud hole and have fun for hours. He was covered in mud by the end of it!! Fun!!

Right after this one of his friends came over to join in the muddy fun, they got into a mud slinging war.....I hide the camera for that!!!

cute kid! looks llike he's having way too much fun. and, good for you for letting him play in the mud. have known many parents over the years that would get upset when their kids would come in covered in dirt / mud after being outside playing & having fun . . .

Does he make mud balls?

We used to roll up balls of mud..carefully line up in a row to dry in the sun, and then when 'mostly' dry ..we would sling them against a wall or tree..I don't know why that was so fun, but this would keep us busy all summer as kids. We'd make mud balls, mud cakes, mud torpedoes...hahaa..we had a mud bakery....etc.

We did that as kids too Meg! And yes, he made mud balls, he and his friend went nuts, my porch looks like a mud monster barfed all over LOL!!!

Oh that brings back fun memories! We use to make mud pies intricately decorated with different colored petals. My kids have their dad aversion to getting dirty, I'll have to work on that this summer.;D

We just had a monsoon Like Rain, and My Children Are Doing This Right Now....How funny is that. Muddy and Happy as can be.....puddle jumpin in the mud. So Sweet. I don't blame ya for hiding the cam, Mud Slingin can get Pretty Dirty. LOL
