Happy valentines day everyone!! regardless of whether any of you spent it with a significant other, i hope everything went great for everyone here... my heart goes out to granolamomma... you dont necessarily need a significant other to feel loved and appreciated. :) :hippie: :D

It all began last night at about 10, when we spelled a terrible odor and followed our sniffers to it's source: The Basement (DUN, DUN, DUN!)

After about ten minutes of contemplation, we came to the mutual conclusion that we had a gas leak.

By 11 the gas company was at our house turning off the heat.

This morning it began to snow.

All the repair companies in this state and the one next door were unable to come and help a pregnant lady out! So, my baby went to her nana's for the day and for the night while I sewed and made my husband a painting for his office.

Then, my (also pregnant) neighbor and close friend asked if my hubby would mind if I went for dinner with her and went shopping for maternity clothes.

He didn't mind at all.

So, I left he and our dog at home and went to the mall and benefitted from these incredible sales on maternity clothes, coming home with heaps of clothes and spending practically no money. Plus, I bought Jay a pair of shoes and pink and orange (not unlike the dress I just made) boxer shorts.

Now, it's freezing in here. I mean, REALLY REALLY COLD. Someone will be out to fix the problem at 9 am. :bawl: :music-smi :musik010: :cool008:

awww...bandaide, im sorry for you and your baby having to be in the cold.. it seems a number of people are having mediocre, if not bad luck this valentines day. knowing you though, im sure you're being your creative self and making the best of it! wish you the best... :)

My day was pretty good... I helped my roomate get ready for his big date, went food shopping, and then had a most wonderful time whiling away the hours. Worked on my REG a little bit, and now I am about to do some work for a client of mine and then pass out. Or maybe I'll just do it tomorow and keep chatting away the night, oh well!
