WOW! now I am lost. did you know you can get 400+ micron silk screen. I don't think anything can get through that.
I have heard 80 - 110 is good but I use 175. I hope it's now too much and I am loosing product.
what do ya'll think?

Awww, you make me blush! I've just been freestyling mostly the past few weeks, but I'm coming up to another write session very soon.
By the way, if he's talking about what I thought he is talking about, should it not have been in hemp speak (http://www.happyhippie.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=3)? (lame attempt to not totally thread jack)

Maybe I'll finish that one out for ya, then. :)
On the topic, if you're worried about losing, you should do it tiered with multiple sizes; first 80, then 120, then 175 (whichever ones you want, that's just random numbers I threw down). You'll not lose as much and you'll get different grades of product through each. :)

I never thought of a step down process. I use 175 is that to small?
(That’s what she said.)
And what if I do not step down will I lose product?
Normaly I shake out as much as possible with a coffee can and some quarters.
Then I honey bee and or disilate the rest
Mix the two and viola!
1 gram of distilled oil will suck up about 7G's of pollin
1 gram og butane goo will only suck up about 3-4G's but is more dense.
and sorry if I posted in the incorect place.

Although it all depends on the initial quality...the step down process just varies your yield quality and quantity to ensure the best of both worlds. IMO, 175 yields top-of-the-line shit! 100 also yields good pollen..with a little bit of junk in it. Mix the two or more variations in between and your set. Otherwise...

Not necessarily... as long as you have an efficient oil making recipe...which it sounds like you do.
I usually make them independently...but that is just personal preference:)

good lookin out on the info.
all I am doing is mixing it with goo or oil so I guess I should stick with the 175 I'll test with some 100 and see if the quality is different.

Please quit post whorin' bro.
... that is, slow down a bit. You're too fast for the pace of this forum, things get pushed aside in your enthusiasm and others can't keep up :)
And the stars are thread ratings, someone gave this thread a good rating.
