Campaign to give Congress notice surges past 2 million
SEND CONGRESS A PINK SLIP! (http://www.sendcongressapinkslip.com/)

The campaign to give members of Congress their "pink-slip" is continuing to surge, and now has surpassed the point of 2 million notifications that if laid end-to-end would paper a trail from New York City to Washington, D.C., and beyond.

The aim of the "Send Congress a Pink Slip" campaign is to send "pink slips" – individually addressed notices to each member of the House and Senate, complete with sender's name and return address – by Fed Ex Courier to let members know there's discontent back on the home front.

The notices already dispatched so far in the campaign, laid end-to-end, would stretch just past 268 miles. That's well beyond the 205-mile distance from New York to Washington and almost as far as the 271-mile distance from Boston to Philadelphia.

The campaign is at 40 percent of its announced goal:

There are some desperate Republicans out there, aren't there? Teabaggers, pink slips, they're starting to sound more like the Transvestite Party. ;)
