I found a poem made by a friend. I think it's beautiful so I decided to share it with you people.

EVER AFTER

I feel like Sleeping Beauty,
Waiting for true love's first kiss
But when my true love leaned to kiss me,
I turned my head and he missed.

I feel like Cinderella,
Who lost one of her glass slippers
But when my prince came to my house,
I gave the chance to my stepsisters.

I feel like Thumbelina,
To marry a mole as unfeeling as stone
But when the swallow came to my rescue,
I made him fly away alone.

I feel like Belle, the Beauty,
In a castle of a beastly friend
But when the last rose petal fell,
I didn't say "I love you" at the end.

I feel like Snow White,
WHo bit the apple's poisoned side
But when my prince came to get me,
I bit the apple again and died.

I feel like Little Ariel,
WHo enchanted Erich with her beautiful voice
But when his wedding to Ursula came,
I made a different choice.

I feel like Princess Jasmine,
Whom Aladdin showed a whole world that's new
But when the moment of truth came,
I didn't accept the real you.

I feel like the indebted Megara,
Who was asked her hero, she betray
But when the time came to hand him over,
My heart I didn't obey.

I feel like the brave little Mulan,
Who wanted adventure and all
But when I saw the handsome captain,
I forbid my heart to fall.

I feel like so many fairy tale princesses,
But I'm not performing it right
And when the final curtain falls,
I feel like I want to cry all night.

They said that life is but a stage,
But I'm not doing justice to my character
I should've read the script my heart wrote to me
And maybe, I could've lived happily ever after...

*sigh*

The sigh is part of the poem. It made me smile when I read that last word.

It is beautiful...

Is this an old poem or a recent one? I have only read it today...
