Pedata,

I love all this. It's like a REALLY creative blog, this big fat notebook of yours.

You should write a book.

It is coming on time to pull five thousands words out of our minds and let them pile up on the floor where, later, we can laugh at them. One good hour.

love the imagery

thank you for sharing, i really enjoy reading your writing :bandit:

I am truely saddened by this. Several scriptures come to mind, that I could share with you, to encourage you. But I wont because you know where you are at in your walk and you know what you can bear. This is the world we live in, and these brothers and sisters, and all the wonderful people who post here are a reflection of that world. How, Cassandra will they know if you dont tell them? It cant be done by running away. ( light under the bowl) I am truly truly sorry you feel this way. I hope that I have not offended you in any manner, by coarse humor or insensitive remarks. I am a believer and am also a Christian man. That is why I love all of you so dearly. I am also a tree hugger and a free thinker. I hope you will reconsider, I did!!! God bless You! Eddie

I just keep coming back to this post...
All I can really say is I'm just blown away.
It's sent me through a whole specturm of emotions...
shock, confusion, hurt, anger, sadness, it's offended me and pained me and confused me all over again.
Frankly I just don't understand...the idea that your god wants you to turn away from the people around you, kind people, loving people, is too foreign for me to really grasp.
To run away from those who believe differantly than you strikes me as at it's core cowardly...but still I will find my way through to respect your beliefs even if you can't respect mine.
All I can can really do in the end though is wish you peace Pedata

My only specific comments are as follows:

Don't hate magic just because a few people you have met are misusing. Magic is a powerful thing that can be used for good just as easily as evil... It's all about the source, intent, and focus. Not all magic users or other occultists are evil and bad people :)

Poor Mr. Methed out. It sure does age the body more quickly. Very sad state of affairs; but I am glad he's not one of the BAD ones - I've met a few like him who are good people on it. They are rare and should be appreciated and cherished.

I hope your chicken farm works out quite well! I hope the cats don't try to eat the babies... Perhaps you can build the coop in such a manner that it can be closed when you aren't around, thus keeping cats and other wildlife out of your chickens :). Have fun with that!

And remember, hindsight is 20/20! Even if you hadn't left school, you would still be looking back and seeing things you could have done differently. Don't regret, hun. A good friend of mine says, "Remember the past, think about the future, and live in now."... That is as opposed to brooding on the past, obsessing about the future, and/or living just for the moment. There must be a balance.

Your musings are so enjoyable to read; heartening, emotive, funny, serious, and sometimes pointless (in a good way!). I love it!

Peace, glorious sister :hippie:

I'd look like a clown with no other vocabulary than "Yayyy! Pedata's back", so

Yipeee, Pedata (and her writing) returns! :)

Time to burn it all.

You remind me of someone. :)

No, not me. You can tell by my far shot at poetry that I don't write much. A lady friend. :)
