A place to be thankful
Thankful you've had a place to transition out of and another to go into
Thankful for the opportunity for change
Thankful for all you have gotten to learn
Thankful for all you are going to learn
Thankful for the experience and excitement of transition


I wrote this months ago when I felt things were drastically about to change and I felt completely emerged in the state of transition and was having a really hard time with it. I find it really comforting to find the light in every situation, so here I am sharing for anyone who feels like changes in their life are a little tough right now.

its very true. ive gone some drastic life changes in a short amount of time & i can relate to your poem. i think change can be viewed in a positive way- like your poem- or in a negative, why me sort of way. i like your way better ;)

life in is constant transition, but more at some times than others. i think everyone in life hits sort of a "plateau" once in awhile. right now, im deciding where i want to move too (it will be my 1st place), trying to figure out what i want to go to school for, and generally just deciding in what direction i want my life to go in.
