im just ciruious but, dose anyone elce belive the govornment is hiding things from us in order to benifit all the rich people? say for example alternitive fuels so the oil industry dosnt go out of buisness. or certain natural cures for desiease and they wont show us the cure because all the money they are making from the patients, as well as from the foundations and there fundraisers will cause them to go out of buisness as well.
im not sure but this is what i think. dose anyone elce think this, what are your veiws?

Of course the government is hiding stuff. That's almost synonomous with the word "gorvernment" - HIDING SHIT.
Here's just one example your post made me think of:
cars. Cars can run on water. 20 years ago it was scientific breakthrough. It was always on the news. A catalyst was used to split H2O into hydrogen and O2, making it an excellent alternative to petrol. But soon after it came out, it disappeared and was never heard from again.
and anyone in science can tell you that cars can run off of animal waste. Methane gases and such would power cars for eternity and we'd never run out of shit because we're always making it. it's even better then water. but again, the petrol companies would never let this happen because oil = money. and whoever has the oil, has the money, AKA power.
And do you really think with all the technological advances like MP3 players that can hold 10,000 songs and fit in the palm of your hand that they haven't found a way to produce a car that would never die? of course they have, but where's the money (power) in that?
And please, don't get me started on what I think Bush is hiding about 9/11.. Here's a must see for any free thinkers that have a clue about our society - Farenheit 9/11...
It's all out there, it just never will make into the news.. why? because the government controls the news. You can't change it. There's too much power against it. But at least be aware.

A good government is always hiding stuff because itīs people donīt have the ability to understand how to take difficult decisions.
But we are usually so ignorant that we donīt understand whatīs happening and the ones that do we call lunatics cause they often are.
 so why bother when the choices is to be naive or crazy and the ones that understand donīt want to choose.

hey, dont be sarcastic, i know my post was a kind of obvious one, but i am still young so that is why i questioned its reality.
i agree about the being aware part! since it is so hard to see what is acctually going on, we can be aware. i acctually have tryed to tell many of my friends and people around me about this stuff but they will not even try to be aware. they just think everything is all fine and we know all there is to know. i just hope that they will become more aware in the future.
anyway sorry for my obvious post, im still young and ask "stupid" questions.

I remember when I was 16 and the thought of corruption in the government was no more accessible than something you'd see on HBO. I mean, I sort of knew it must be there, but I didn't have ANY grasp on how or where or why or what. And frankly, I was way too concerned with my eyebrows to care anyway.
So, ask away. I (and I'll bet everyone else here) is happy to know you're curious.
I don't think anyone was trying to be sarcastic in a mean way. It's just a thing that is in some people's faces all the time and it gets people riled up and frustrated. I don't think anyone was trying to insinuate that the question was stupid, but rather that it's a subject that is touchy. :group_hug

anyway sorry for my obvious post, im still young and ask "stupid" questions.
Generally, the only stupid question is the one unasked.
But you should make an effort to form your question to ask what you are really asking... For example "Can you smoke marijuana seeds" will garner a response of "Yes, you can, assuming they are dry, they will burn and produce smoke." Of course, you meant to ask, "Can you smoke marijauna seeds to get psychoactive effects?" which will return, "No, there is little to no THC in marijuana seeds.".
So there's unasked questions, stupid questions, misdirected questions, and smart questions (http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html).

I love questions!! As Delta said, the only stupid one is the one left unasked. I'm actually happy you asked cause I got to go on my rant about cars! they make me mad and me and boyfriend are always going on and on about how cars should just run off shit... but anyway... never be afraid to ask. If anyone says it's a "stupid" question, they're the stupid one, not you. Speaking of stupid questions... where the hell are my pants?! :ufo:
