You're the reason
You destroyed all our plans
When you gave back my band
I don't know what to do
My friends tell me
That I'm still young
And I'll get over you
Cuz life without you baby is a thought that I can't stand
Without your love to see me through
You know I'm only half the man
Cuz baby your the reason
I do the things I do
So please don't see me as I am right now
But what I could be if I had you
I knew that you'd be lonely
But I had to go away
The miles apart
They put a strain on your heart
I wished I could have stayed
Cuz now you've found some-one new
Someone to hold you tight
Someone to fill those lonely hours
I pray he treats you right
But if you get hurt
Just call my name
I won't be very far
Come back to one who loves you
Loves you for who you are

I do the things I do
So please don't see me as I am right now

Awwwww. It's so sweet. That's the way I feel about good relationships that go sour. If my baby leaves me, I'll wait for him, and I'll welcome him back, because no one else is as right for me. :)

you gave me a kiss but what did you take away? my girlhood and all the memories of bad kisses. you were there on my first trip but what did you give me? dreams of Big fireplaces, fluffy blankets, and hot chocolate. you sang me that song but what did it make me think of? us being together forever and ever. So Maybe now you're thinking I'm going to say I love you, Nope because I'm not that type of girl anymore, I don't believe in Fairy Tale Weddings and happily ever afters. you sat with me in the Hammock and told me I was beautiful but all that reminded me of was the 16 other guys that had said that before you. So now you Know, this isn't one of those silly love poems where I tell you I'm in love with you and I can't live without you. Nope This is a Poem filled with my insecurities my insecurities like when I think I could lose some weight or my hair could be less curly, when I can get past those, thats when Maybe, I can write one of those Poems where I can say that I'm in love with you and I can't live Without you but I doubt that will ever happen just like I doubt guys will ever look past my boobs and my pretty face. and see Whats inside of me past my insecurities.
