PEACE FROG

Vauge resemblance, vauge remembrance, two pink bows
Half a egg... the other half at that
A reflection on the greasey end of the butterknife
I welcome your poverty,your disease.
Your neediness makes me taller
I've grown quite accustomed to your chin on the top rail
Eyeballing my swingset
The gimmie gimmie get
My friends you havent met yet
In like a yard sale, out like the floor of the theater
After the movie no one ever takes anything with them
Cept a piece of the plot and the ticket stubb
But hey, welcome welcome anytime
Why we'll leave the light on
Ive had orange juice and a sugar cookie
The stars are almost gone
After all... you're the the other half of that egg
How could I forget
It always makes me taller
The gimmie gimmie get

Sensory overload (in a good way ;) )! I had to read it five times, I loved it so much. I think I might come back to read it again later. :D

This is so good, and I can relate in someway, as some of my own work deals with random images, yet, you manage to keep them in a secure fit that makes sense. Such a good poem. It's like when you're bored and you're just thinking as you do something about the past, present and future, and you compare your close friends and or lovers to objects. it all fits. ;)
