Hi,

My name is Marisha. I am 28. Last year I've bought an old house at the countryside with 30 acres of land. The house has to be refurbished - roof is leaking, floor is rotted through, windows are warped and I plan to start works this spring. Have constructional materials, but am in lack of good practical man's hands.

For the time being i am sheltered by my cousin Lena who could offer some more accommodation and food for those interested to help us at hers. Our property is on the outskirts of a typical village in a hilly part of Transdniestr, which is the east part of Moldova with large Russian and Ukrainian population. Food is grown organic at our farm. We make wine and collect honey. Living and working with us is an excellent opportunity to see this part of the world (Moldova, Ukraine, Transdniestr), pick up some fun skills like milking cows, and of course to learn Russian and Romanian (close to Italian).

Please, respond! Any useful links or information would be appreciated,

Marisha

check out WWOOF (willing workers on organic farms) sounds like you may be able to be a host.

Thx. I am host there since this february. No replies yet. Post my proposal at different forums. May be you have an idea who else could be interested to come and stay with us?

WWOOF is the only international one I know of...sorry.
If you could provide good accommodation you would probably have more interest :)
