He's his mama's little baby.... baby boy
Mamma's Pot'n Dottle had to giggle
Tree full of Owls, child in the middle
The sweeper, not yet old enough to dry
The One she said she wanted
He always loved Shaking up the hive
He knew the sweet spot, the middle of five
Big Ear Teddie
Fat Freddie
Hippo tooth stink, Johnnies smoking
Now get ready
It takes perfect timing to be middle of five
like stealing second
Cept this'll keep him alive
Like running to lick the beater
Or to the best spot in the living room- T.V. side of the heater
Blue eyed streak of lightning, moving at the speed of sound
For his Mamma's right leg where safety can be found
Mamma's Pot'n Dottle had to giggle
Tree full of Owls, child in the middle

Okay, Okay... you get better and better each time you write something. I really love this.

Why is every "o" word capitolized but the word "old?"

That is so cute :) It moves and flows in such a happy way.

I read the curly blonde bowtie and got terrified. Omg, have you been there?

Peace,
Cassandra

I know the feeling of "child in the middle". haha I am right in the middle of 11. It did always take "perfect timing" to get anything before it ran out. And we lived in a little, one bathroom home till I was 12. Imagine the discomfort waiting in that line!!

Wow, this poem brought back some memories for me. I like it alot.
