I have the hardest time keeping plants alive, but i love having at least one in my room because they're so pretty and good for the air. Does anyone Have any ideas of what kind of plant i could get that would be relatively easy for me, the plant killer, to keep alive? anything except a cactus...

Hey! I'm an ok gardener, but am having some problems myself. I must say the two plants that NEVER give me trouble, even if I abandon them for a month are Jade Plants. I have 2, they're different varieties and they both take all the abuse in the world (and they're pretty!!)

Try Devil's Ivy. That is a pretty hard plant to kill. Any kind of philodendron. I have great luck with spider plants. They don't seem to care what kind of light they get. Wandering Jews are good for places that don't have the greatest light. I have a Wandering Jew in the bedroom. It's doing beautifully, and I usually forget to open the blinds in the mornings to let the sun in, so apparently, it doesn't need a lot of light. I also have a spider plant in there that doesn't get much light. But then I also have spider plants in other parts of the house that get nothing but light, so I think spiders are pretty easy-going plants. Easy to please. Good luck.

how about an air fern :p they dont die!!!
I have a jade plant too and I havent killed that yet!! I also have a donkey tail or burrow tail and I cant keep that plant I keep getting new ones and trying different things, this new one is doing good so I think I got it down!
most ivy's are good they just need sunlight and something to grow up.
I love wondering jews they are so pretty I had one for years but all of a sudden it died other then that it was easy to take care of.
good luck I love indoor plants! when they stay alive that is!!!

I have to second the recommendation for Devils Ivy. I have a bunch of these in a pretty dark location (in the middle of a room that always has the curtains closed.)
You just leave them alone until they droop a little and then water them. That's what I like about them...they tell you when they're thirsty.
