Okay, BandAide and Pedata...I can't gush enough how great it is reading your blogs...both of them. It's like a glimpse into another's soul.
It's got me seriously thinking of starting one although whenever I try to think of what I will write...too many thoughts go swirling around my mind and I can't decide what anybody wants to hear about.
How on EARTH do you guys do it?

Aren't blogs great? I'm soooo glad BandAide started one. There's just something so enjoyable about reading other people's journals. What a voyeristic bunch we are, lol!
Treehugger, don't worry about what people want to hear. There's no way you can know. Don't do it to entertain.
When too many thoughts are going through your mind, just grab one and start there. Change subjects all you want. Basically, write what you want to write, make it enjoyable for yourself.
When you write and then get stuck- preview it. That helps me remember things I wanted to write. I too get too many thoughts when I sit down to write. I just have to grab one and go.
When I first start writing it always feels stilted and forced, but that's normal for me. I just keep going, previewing, changing, and after a while the flow gets going and I'm on a roll.
Start one! :) They're fun. Be prepared to feel like burning it all later. Sometime I look back at mine and think "what a load of crap and nonsense!". I think it's just the introspective part of it, examining yourself too much. Like staring at yourself in a mirror for too long.
I think they're great. They show what we're really all like, and how similar our lives are- with the ups and downs, the problems, the worries, and the joys.
Real life, lol.
Peace,
Cassandra

I do too!
when Pedata first began hers I thought it was a little act of genius on her part. I hesitated to begin my own because I didn't want to rip off her wonderful idea. So, I finally decided that I'd just credit her with it and see what happens.
It's especially nice because people in my every day life visit my other blog, so though it is honest, it isn't cathartic.
I needed a place to really dish the dirt. To just get it all out of me.
Certainly it must give a messy view of my reality, but who cares...
It's helpful!

Hmmm...I've started a space. With a blog.
I can't guarantee I'll keep it up but it's a good start.

Anna, feel free to rip off anything you'd like :) Lol, it wasn't an act of genius, more like an act of I must write I must I must. But I will take the compliment and enjoy it immensely :) Thanks.
Kath- I went to your blog. Wow, now I feel like I know you better! You sound kind of like me, I have things piled up outside. And you sound like my long time friend, her mom did everything for her, also.
Now, because of Anna, my head will not fit through the door.
Peace,

Aww, thanks, Kermit. I'll keep that in mind. :D Seriously.
And, I love the puzzles you've been posting lately..although they've become too difficult for me. At least too difficult for me when I'm under the influence. I will have to look at them again when I'm not all fuzzybrained. :o
